Planning a Resilient Downtown Neighborhood in Oakland:
Addressing the Vulnerability of Oakland’s Jack London District
At the College of Environmental Design’s Sustainable Urban Design & City Planning program, I researched and developed a proposal to address the acute shocks and chronic stresses of Oakland’s Jack London District in support of Resilient Oakland and 100 Resilient Cities. After completing the program, I moved on and deepened my skills and commitment to urban resilience at Nature in the City.
In 2017, I was obsessed with film photography and took the photos on our header banners with an analog camera: the Pentax K1000. Above, I'm presenting a liquefaction map I designed with ArcGIS! Photo: CED
